Meat Producers Information

Welcome to the meat producers information page. All of our goat and sheep meat that is produced and harvested from our Minnesota farms and neighboring states must meet our high quality standards that are set forth as, “Natural” which means livestock that is grass fed, pasture raised with no added growth hormones. We refuse to accept lame, unhealthy or old livestock and only accept livestock that have a good meat to fat ratio. We have a trusted working relationship with our producers and work on an honor system that all livestock are "Natural". Minnesota Specialty meats has hired professional independent contractors to work closely with each producer at harvest time, they will come to each farm for livestock pick up, saving the producer their time, fuel costs and sales commisions while giving them a fair competitive price without the hassle of leaving the farm. We ask that you have your livestock ready for delivery in a holding area to save our hired hands time on the road. By supporting each other we are able to achieve a strong American meat goat market in the United States.
